Personal Life

Has lived in the Pacific Northwest since 1950; moved to the Tri-Cities in 1981. Born in Salem, MA.

Happily married to Douglas Korten since 1976.

Has five children. Two sons with families of their own live in the Tri-Cities. A daughter lives in Prineville, OR, with a family of her own; another son, with a family of his own, lives in Lincoln, CA. Out of all this have come seven darling grandchildren! Finally, another son (a web page designer) lives in Seattle.

Loves to camp and to experience the great outdoors with the Tumbleweed Sam's RV Chapter. Also enjoys taking cruises.

Adventurous enough to get a thrill out of river rafting. Not quite adventurous enough to try parasailing a second time.
